2017 Math challenge tournament results
Congratulations to all students who participated and competed at the annual Math Challenge Tournament!
We had about 2,000 students participated from various states (WA, CA, NY, etc). It was truly amazing to see their passion and excitement for math, we hope they had a good experience at this tournament.
A huge thanks to all the organizers, volunteers, schools and centers who hosted this tournament. You played a critical role in the success of this tournament. Thank you!
The results are in. The list of all top 10% scorers can be found at http://www.ellipsisacademy.com/mct-2017-top-scorers.html,
Parents will be getting an individual email about their students' scores as well as information about medals/plaques pick-up (if their students are in the top scorer list). Please be sure that EllyS@ellipsisacademy.com is on your email contact to prevent the email from going to your junk folder.
For those who did not get placed in the top 10%, please don't be discouraged. Keep up the good effort and try again next year.
Math Challenge Masters Round
We will invite up to 25 top scoring students from each grade and division to compete at the Math Challenge Tournament Masters round which is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Redmond High School (Redmond, WA).
If your student is selected, in mid-February, you will be receiving an email invitation to participate and register for this tournament. A total of 200 email invitations will go out in February with details about the event and how to register. At Masters, students will get a chance to compete again for the TOP 5 National Winners for each level and division.
Thanks again for participating in 2017 Math Challenge Tournament! We look forward to see your student again this year.
