Who Needs to Take the Placement Test?
To provide the highest-quality experience for every student, we kindly ask families to register for our complimentary placement test only if they have a genuine interest in enrolling in our programs. This allows us to dedicate the proper time and attention to each student's evaluation.

- Students entering Grade 2 or above for the 2026–2027 school year (including returning Ellipsis Math students) are required to take this FREE online placement test before enrolling in our Fall 2026 Ellipsis Math group classes.
- New FlexMath students.
- We kindly ask families with students entering Grade 1 to wait until next year before taking the placement test.

Event Details
- When: Choose either the Aug 29, 9:30 AM PDT or Sep 2, 5:00 PM PDT test session.
- Where: Online (the test link and detailed instructions will be emailed 1–2 days before your selected test date).
- Sign Up: Click HERE to register.
Registration Notes
- Registration closes 3 days before each test session.
- After registering, you will receive an automated confirmation email within a few minutes.
- One registration per student: Each student may be registered for one placement test session only. Multiple registrations for the same student are not permitted. If multiple registrations are received, only the most recently submitted registration will be retained, and all earlier registrations will be automatically canceled.
- Need to switch to a different test session? Your confirmation email includes a link that allows you to reschedule.
- If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder.
- If you need to update your student's information after registering, you can submit a change request HERE.
Virtual Open House
Join us for our Virtual Open House on Saturday, Aug 29 at 11:00 AM PDT. During this session, we'll introduce our programs, explain how Ellipsis Math works, and answer your questions during a live Q&A.
Families who register for the placement test will automatically receive an email on Friday, Aug 28 containing the Zoom meeting link. Attendance is first come, first served and limited to 100 participants.

Important Information
- Watch for an email from [email protected] containing your student's test link and instructions 1–2 days before the test. We recommend adding this email address to your contacts to prevent it from being filtered as spam.
- We strongly encourage all families—even returning families—to attend the Virtual Open House. You can indicate your interest when registering for the placement test.
- Placement test results, including your student's recommended Ellipsis Math level and enrollment link, will be emailed on Tue, Sep 8 at 5:00 PM PDT.
- Enrollment is first come, first served. We recommend reviewing the Fall 2026 class schedule beforehand and identifying preferred class options.
- If the enrollment page does not load immediately, please wait a moment and try again. High demand may temporarily slow the website.
- We do not release placement test questions, answers, scores, or detailed analytics. Our recommendations are based on a comprehensive evaluation of each student's mathematical readiness across multiple skill areas—not simply on a test score.
