Introduction to Competitive Math (Track B)
This class is intended for incoming 3rd or 4th grade students (in Fall 2023) who are interested in preparing themselves for various math competitions. This class is designed to foster creative problem solving, extend student math knowledge and skills, and expose students to challenging questions found in Math Olympiad, Math Kangaroo and Math Challenge Tournament. Total instruction time for this class is 15 hours.
When: Jul 31 – Aug 11, 2023 (Every Mon, Wed, Fri from 1:30pm – 4:00pm PST)

Prerequisite:
- Grade: incoming 3/4 in Fall 2023.
- Self-test: to determine if this class is suitable/appropriate for your student, we recommend that students download and take the self-test. Students should be able to answer 22 questions correctly in 30 minutes. If a student struggles with these problems, then he/she might want to consider our Ellipsis FlexMath program.
