**Curriculum and Approaches**

Our curriculum is advanced and rigorous; it will enrich, challenge and advance your child in mathematics. All of our programs foster excellence in fundamental, problem solving and critical thinking skills while maintaining an engaging, fun and dynamic environment.

Our programs are based on rigorous curriculum, coupled with real world lessons, specifically designed and proven to enable students to advance and be great thinkers, problem solvers and innovators. Ellipsis Math students typically tested one to three grade levels higher in Math. You can find more detail information on our

**curriculum and approaches**here.

**Leap one to three grade higher in math**

Many schools provide an opportunity for students (typically towards the end of 6th grade) to take an Algebra Placement test. Depending on the student's score on this test along with their math grade and SBA score, they can get invited to join Algebra class (or even Geometry class) in 7th grade. Please note that Algebra is typically a 9th grade math class and Geometry is typically a 10th grade math class.

**Ellipsis Math students are prepared to take advantage of this opportunity and leap 1 to 3 grade higher which enables all of the concrete benefits listed below.**

**Program Duration**

Ellipsis Math programs are 1 year long programs consisting of 2 semesters: Fall and Spring. Enrollment is per semester and there is continuity between semesters. All students enrolled in Fall semester will automatically have seats in Spring semester.

**Starting Right**

We strive to ensure that all students are appropriately challenged and placed in the right level. Because of this, all students who are interested in our Ellipsis Math classes (including returning students) are required to take our FREE Placement test.

**Small, Dynamic Classes**

Our math classes are small and engaging to ensure that students are comfortable to participate, interact with other students, ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them. Each class accepts a maximum of either 12 or 14 students depending on the location.

**Available classes**

We currently offer

**Ellipsis Math 2, 3, 4, 5, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry classes**. Schedule for Fall 2018 classes is now available here.
