Competitive Math 1 (Track A)
This class is intended for incoming 4th and 5th grade students (in Fall 2022) who are interested in preparing themselves for various math competitions. This class is designed to foster creative problem solving, extend student math knowledge and skills, and expose students to competitions similar to Math Olympiad, Math Challenge Tournament and Math Kangaroo. Total instruction time for this class is 15 hours.
When: Jun 20 - Jul 1, 2022 (Every Mon, Wed, Fri from 1:30pm – 4:00pm PST)

Prerequisite:
- Grade: incoming 4/5 in Fall 2022.
- Self-test: to determine if this class is suitable/appropriate for your student, we recommend that students download and take the self-test. Students should be able to answer 22 questions correctly in 30 minutes. If a student struggles with these problems, then he/she might want to consider our Ellipsis FlexMath program or a lower level class.
