Thank you for considering to organize this exciting Math tournament! To make Math Challenge Tournament (MCT) available to more students (Mathletes), we need to have as many organizers and schools/centers host this exciting event. Organizing this tournament is a great way to support your students and your school. It is also a great way to experience and be part of a meaningful and impactful educational effort.

Who can organize?
Any parent, teacher, PTSA member, principal, etc. can be an ORGANIZER for this tournament. This year, Math Challenge Tournament can be scheduled any day and time between December 2 through December 18, 2019.
Where can this tournament be hosted?
Any school or center can host this tournament. For schools or non profit organizations, Ellipsis Academy will give back 15% of the Math Challenge tournament registration fees (from students registered at your school) back to your school or non-profit organization.

For public schools or non profit organizations, when you host a Math Challenge tournament at your school, Ellipsis Academy will give back 15% of the Math Challenge tournament registration fees (from students registered & participated) at your school) back to your school or non-profit organization. You may choose to give back to the school/organization or to your school PTSA.

General Steps to Organize This Tournament
- Reserve a space at your school/center to host and administer this tournament. This tournament can be held in the school gym, cafeteria, library, or/and classroom(s) any time and day of your choice December 2 through December 18, 2019.
- Please note the max capacity that the room can handle
- Please reserve the space for 2 to 3 hours for this tournament (depending on number of students you will host).
- Please click HERE to fill out a quick form to register your school or center with us.
- Announce and promote this tournament to your students in your school or center. We will provide several resources (example below - poster, sample emails, etc.) that you can use for this.
- Administer the tournament. We will provide you with the list of participating students and all the tournament materials/keepsakes one week prior to the event.
- Send us back all students' answer sheets for scoring (for locations within Puget Sound area, we will arrange a pickup and for locations outside of Washington, we will provide a paid return envelope)
